About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member with the desire to learn and develop their career in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.

As a Solutions Consultant, you will be reporting to the Solutions Manager. You will have a direct impact on the company’s growth and development by delivering compelling software solutions, maximising client satisfaction and usage of the Aurum Platform.

This is a great opportunity to come on board and be a part of the exciting growth path of Aurum, as we grow into new and existing markets and make our software more sticky across our user base.

The scope of the role will encompass pre and post Sales components.

The main goals of this role will be:

  • Pre-Sales: Understanding client needs, mapping out detailed reconciliation processes, and agreeing on the scope of software demonstrations and proof-of-concepts. The focus is on identifying the specific reconciliation types, data sources, and integrations required. Additionally, identify improvements to standardised offerings per industry vertical that encompass the most common use cases, features, reporting, and data sources for each given industry vertical.
  • Post-Sales: Conducting post-sales discovery calls to assess client needs, reviewing their current usage, and identifying ways for clients to make the most of their existing software implementation. The objective is to evaluate whether their existing usage meets all their requirements and to propose new configurations or added modules that can better meet their needs. This role also involves identifying and delivering the required configurations, as well as working with Sales and Delivery teams to implement new modules to fulfil the client's unmet needs depending on the scenario.

The ideal candidate will work in close partnership across the company, with the following key responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-sales discovery calls to understand prospective client needs.
  • Conduct post-sales discovery calls to identify unmet needs and suggest new configurations or additional modules to better meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with Solutions, Sales, and Delivery teams to implement required configurations, non-core changes, and new modules to address client needs.
  • Identify opportunities to standardise offerings per industry vertical, showcasing common use cases, features, reporting capabilities, and data sources.
  • Customise and adapt standard offerings to fit the unique context and requirements of individual clients while considering opportunities for cross-product standardisation when delivering demos and proof-of-concepts.
  • Assist with the selection and execution of proof-of-concepts, considering factors such as complexity, market potential, and opportunity for increased market share.
