Introduction

AvaTrade is an award-winning & highly regulated online broker, offering CFD trading on a wide range of asset classes. They support over 400,000 customers worldwide and execute more than two million trades each month. With quality, integrity and transparency central to its approach, the business set out to strengthen its financial processes. The goal was to build greater confidence in regulated activities while maintaining a strong customer focus.

The Challenge

Operating as a multinational business, AvaTrade manages 30 to 40 banking providers, 300 to 400 bank accounts, 55 client money accounts, and three regulated entities across Ireland, the Middle East, and Australia. With a broad product range and growing client base, the business required full confidence that processes were auditable and that any financial errors were identified and flagged quickly.

Manual reconciliation created a significant burden when trying to achieve this, with the team spending six to seven hours each day downloading statements, calculating balances and reconciling data across accounts. While compliant, this approach placed pressure on resources. AvaTrade needed a solution that improved efficiency, control and provide clear visibility across all accounts.
