Our editorial process

How we match contemporary insights with thorough, trustworthy, and accessible research

At Aurum Solution, we are committed to providing accurate, insightful, helpful, and trustworthy information that is both accessible and transformational for our readers. We therefore use an editorial process to review all of our content before it is published.

This process is at the forefront of our minds from the research stage of content creation to the final review, ensuring integrity is always present. Here are the fundamental aspects of our editorial process.

What do we write about?

Delivering a foundational service for finance teams across a variety of sectors, Aurum has an impact on many processes beyond its core activity of reconciliation. As such, we aim for our writing to reflect this by not only focussing on reconciliation but also related topics, such as financial innovations and regulations that will affect our audience.

What value does our content aim to deliver and for who?

At Aurum we are all about collaboration. We are an office-first company and always establish close relationships with our clients, whom we like to call partners. Embodying these values, our written content is therefore created with a view to be shared.

To achieve this, our writing has to be valuable amongst our key audience of finance professionals who range from accountants to CFOs. We must therefore deliver a selection of outcomes, including a better understanding of finance fundamentals, inspiration to improve operational processes, and thought leadership on the future of finance.

However, we appreciate that the role of finance teams in iGaming is different to those in Wealth Management. As a result, we like to produce generic finance content and specialist content for specific industries. This ensures that our audience remains informed about topics that truly matter to them.

How do we make sure that we meet these standards?

Producing written content on our chosen topics does not allow for opinions or unverified claims. Doing so would risk financial inaccuracies and undermine our goal of assisting the industry and the finance professionals within it.

Just like how our software cross-references sources to guarantee data integrity, our writing must also be held to equally high standards of scrutiny. We are therefore selective in what we decide to write, thorough in assessing our sources, and always proactive in gaining expertise from financial professionals within our company and externally.

However, accuracy must also be accessible; otherwise, despite its best intentions, it risks being misinterpreted. Given that many of our partners are responsible for safeguarding client money, we therefore aim for our writing to be plain-speaking to ensure utmost clarity.

Accurate and accessible accounting content

The editorial process outlined on this page is the foundation for guaranteeing that our writing meets the expectations of ourselves, our audience, and the wider industry. At the core of this is accuracy. After all, at Aurum, accuracy is our priority, whether it’s numbers or letters.
