Emre Eryilmaz

Spearheading Aurum Solutions' payments vertical, Emre Eryilmaz brings with him expertise in payment security, transaction analysis, reconciliation, and more after years of working with payment service providers and merchants in various verticals.

Initially developing an appreciation for financial accuracy during modules on forecasting in his degree in Business Management, Emre quickly steered his career towards FinTech by joining Bottomline Technologies. Here his passion for payments grew as he got to know hundreds of customers personally and provided equally unique solutions for their needs as a Sales Development Representative.

Exhibiting a consultative and personal sales approach along with in-depth payment knowledge, Emre soon became an Enterprise Growth Manager, managing revenue of £20 million for Bottomline. During this period he would seal a £200,000 deal to process all of a leading UK supermarket's payroll payments and embed a BACS payment process at a now well-known challenger bank. However, Emre’s shoulders were looking for even greater responsibility. In 2022 he therefore joined SepaExpress to launch the UK arm of their instant payment solution prior to their acquisition by Banking Circle.

Now, Emre is assisting PSPs, acquirers, issuers, and other payment companies navigate regulated reconciliation requirements. Pairing his payments expertise with Aurum’s powerful automation, the challenges of regulation are fast becoming one less thing Aurum customers worry about.

Emre, on the other hand, does have one thing to worry about; as a proud Arsenal fan, he is still left wondering when another Premier League trophy will arrive. However, with his wife expecting their first child soon, his pride will soon be reserved for a special someone else.
