Throne Entertainment partners with Aurum Solutions to build on global growth

Expansion and growth across the world have seen iGaming operator, Throne Entertainment, invest in its back-office operations through adoption of Aurum Solutions’ automated reconciliation platform.

Global expansion is a hallmark of success, but it also produces reconciliation challenges for finance teams – handling different currencies, muddling of payment times by differing time zones, high volumes of transactions, managing PSP connections, and meeting various international regulations. Continuing without a suite of automated solutions designed to neutralise these challenges was therefore not viable for Throne Entertainment.

As Managing Director of the operator, Alejandra Guerrero recognised this instantly, meaning that her “first suggestion to the business when I [she] saw that we [Throne] were doing manual reconciliation was that we [Throne] needed an automated reconciliation tool.” This was driven not only by a wish for greater financial efficiency, but also to free up resources for investing in the development of other departments integral for a global enterprise.

With Aurum in place, both aims have already been met. The finance team at Throne Entertainment now calculate and analyse fee charges 97% faster, every month they are onboarding an extra 2 PSPs for their customers, and time spent on their monthly PSP reconciliation is reduced by 3 whole days. Vast productivity improvements have allowed Alejandra to develop new legal and compliance teams.

For Throne Entertainment this amounts to revolutionising their operations but as Tiago Veiga, CEO of Aurum Solutions, explains:

At Aurum we’re in the business of delivering financial accuracy without compromising on speed. This is what ambitious companies such as Throne Entertainment strive for. Crucially, our automation meets these expectations and beyond them with expansive capacity as we know full well that partnering with the likes of Throne will see both volumes and success continue to grow.

The addition of 2 PSPs every month means that Throne Entertainment continues to remain on the impressive course predicted by Tiago Veiga, making their application of Aurum even more valuable in the eyes of Alejandra and her team:

Whenever you choose to invest in a tool, there is always some concern but adopting Aurum has proven to be the best decision.
